Since 2012 yearly votes have been held in France to determine which village people prefer. The competing villages must have remarkable aspects for architecture, environment and history. The title is awarded during a very attended TV show. After Saint Cirq Lapopie (www.saint-cirqlapopie.com/) in 2012 and Eguisheim (www.ot-eguisheim.fr/) in 2013, this year Cordes sur Ciel was awarded the prize (www.cordessurciel.fr/). Just wonderful!
