Taichung is known for its pleasant climate and laid-back atmosphere. The city offers a rich mixture of urban living and access to nature, with Shei-Pa National Park and Gaomei Wetlands in close proximity. You can stroll along the Art Museum Parkway by day and when night falls experience the incredible Fengjia Night Market. Don’t forget to try the classic Taichung breakfast: stir-fried noodles with a bowl of pig’s blood soup. And of course, no meal is complete without a dash of Dongquan chili sauce – a local must-have!
