Distorted Portrait Experiment (Slit Scan)

I recently read this article:

and decided to give Slit Scan portraits a try. I rigged up the Spinner 360 with motorizer for these. More experimentation is needed to synchronize the velocities for a clearer portrait.

I love the motorizer, lots of fun! I like walking around it, following the lens and then periodically stopping.

That artist lives on my island and is featured at the local camera shop. I got to see his work in person. Neat stuff.
