roots

we visited in december the nature reservate Mamiraua, about 500 km east of Manaus, where we stayed at the pousada Uacari. from there we made various trips on the rivers, in the forest and we also visited a community which lives beside the river solimoes.
these pics are from two trips we made through the forest. now in december it is possible to walk through, but in a few month the water will rise up to twelve meters over the ground.
