   I had a pair, brown leather, that was aging so well! the more torn they were the better they looked, until one day they broke completely! I was leavin London and could not take them wth... So I just left them on a street corner, here :)

   @mrmostarr They tend to be all I wear (with the exception of proper winter boots, steel-toe boots, ski boots or proper running shoes for actual running) and have been for the past 16 years or so. At one point, I had 13 pairs of Chucks in a variety of colours and materials. I am now down to only 8. When they have become too worn out for me to continue wearing, I leave them on the lid of my garbage bin at home or at my work. All but 1 pair were gone before the garbage truck came.

   I agree! I got myself a new pair today. :) Chucks are the best.
