單色上海 (Monochrome Shanghai)

My 14th roll of film from my trip to China. Only 2 more rolls left to post! This features scenes of Shanghai using my Holga 135BC with very low-contrast Kentmere 400 35mm film. Like my black and white Beijing photos that used the same combo, I love the old feeling to these.

Feeling inspired by this photo? You can pick up the Holga 135 BC in our Shop. We don’t stock this film, but our film category is full of great options.

Shanghai

Shanghai is one of the most diverse cities in China. Here, East and West, tradition and modernity intertwine at every turn – from classical Chinese gardens tucked beside European-style architecture, to golden temples nestled among skyscrapers, and even traditional opera performances staged in contemporary art galleries. For analogue adventurers, this city is a never-ending source of inspiration.
