I feel a deep nostalgia for the time before our plastic age, when houses were built with care, and shops and businesses proudly displayed beautiful, often handcrafted signs. I've started to focus on capturing these precious artifacts of the past in my neighborhood, just in case they disappear over time
On August 21, I tried film reportage shooting for the first time in my life :)
The 1st stage of a bicycle race was passing through my neighborhood. We waited quite a while, but when the peloton finally came, everything happened so fast — they were racing neck and neck, with no laggards, even though they had already covered almost 200 km through quite a demanding landscape. And then, in a blink, they were gone!
Luckily, while waiting, I had planned how I’d take the photos, so I wasn’t disappointed after developing the film! :)
At the end of 2025, my mother and I visited a lovely coffee house in the city of Bielefeld. I really love the colors in this photo and how harmonious the whole composition feels!
I love how surreal this place looks. You can't see the road behind the crops, so it looks as if the bus stop signs are just standing alone in the field. The dense fog intensifies this feeling of disconnection from the world.
Egyptian geese were introduced to Europe, have settled in, and feel right at home here. In crowded spots near water, they prefer to perch high above the crowds—on top of posts or, as here, on the roof of the Rhine water level gauge.
