Brought my Diana Mini to Lucban to take some square shots of the celebration of Pahiyas - the famed fiesta in honor of San Isidro Labrador and a thanksgiving to a bountiful harvest. As usual, the use of fresh produce and the kiping (made from ground rice) to decorate the houses along the year's parade route was awe-inspiring.
Trying out the Lomo LC-Wide that I borrowd from the Bangkok Lomo Store So,this is my first Half frame attempt. Unfortunately, I've accidentally put the wrong format; the square frame instead of the right one; Half frame :( ... and I just realised my error after finished the roll. Here are the results. and I'd say that It was a Great experiment with new buddy : LC-Wide ... Half frame Happiness : )
When oh when will I EVER learn? It was so bright out there yesterday but I wasn't thinking clearly. I loaded 400 into the LC-Wide and it just couldn't handle it so these were way overexposed and a pain to scan. Oh well, next time I'm on the open water in bright full sunshine I will make sure I have some lower ISO film and perhaps something with a high shutter speed or better aperture control. Still, you get some of the flavor of sailing on an old fashioned schooner...it was lovely and my first experience on a large sailing ship.
