When I was young, I used to shoot with a 35 millimeter camera. I shot everything, plants, my feet, the sky. I shot such random stuff my parents made me switch to digital. Now I'm back and shooting the same things with much more expensive film. I own a Holga, an LC-A+ (bought after an amazing day in SF, which you can read about at bit.ly/6hymNb ), and (soon) a Diana Mini. I keep it cheap by using the film scanner which my school conveniently has (they didn't even know it did film before i started using it). Uploading my pictures will be slow, because I don't have any free periods, and it takes woefully long to set up the film in the scanner (though it scans well enough that I shouldn't complain).
