I rigged up a bracket to attach a red filter in front of my Horizon Perfekt and went off to shoot the world through the eye of the Cyclops ;-) These shots clearly demonstrate the contrast boost a red filter adds when shooting black & white.
This is Stadium Highschool in Tacoma, WA. It is an incredible structure....so gothic, and beautiful. It was used in that movie "ten things I hate about you". Right now it is under renovation. This particular shot was taken with my telephoto Kodak lens held in front of my LCA.
unfortunately the conditions (light) were really bad so the shots didn´t turn out that well. and i made a few mistakes while shooting. need to get to know the camera better: mainly framing!
anyway my first impression is very good. AND: THIS CAMERA IS AN EYE-CATCHER! i had it around my neck while strolling and everyone was looking at the camera. got asked about it two times while walking around.
Selfie. We stayed at this nice B&B in Ballard when we were visiting friends in Seattle and I fell in love with the house. It was full of gorgeous vintage treasures and plenty of soft light coming from the outside so I just had to take photos. Unfortunately, I was out of female models so I did another batch of selfies.
