This weekend concludes Façades: Neo-Noir Portraits, a collective film photography exhibition featuring the works of 19 film photographers. A collaboration between Parallel Planets x Lomography Singapore. Here are snippets from my shoot with my bestfriend, Arlene :) The first photo is our exhibition piece <3
These photos were taken in an abandoned mansion called Istana Woodneuk. It was said to have been built in the late 19th century for a sultan's wife. It got burned down around 2006. Its risky to go and find this place hidden in the woods. I'd say its totally worth it. Model: Erin Emocling

the basic idea was to create a mask but I had other plans. my mask would be a shot of the colourful balloons and proceeded to shoot said balloons for a number of frames, thinking I could rewind my sprocket exactly to the right frame and double expose them. didn't turn out well, as you can see, but, just as awesome instead! :D
