#Solargraphy taken with a pinhole camera made from a can originally used for a dog flea and tick collar. Exposure time: 777 days, from November 12, 2023 to December 29, 2025. The pinhole camera was attached for the entire exposure with insulating tape to a pole used for hanging a badminton net at a children’s playground near my home, facing west. The camera was positioned on the windward side, so water occasionally entered through the pinhole, which most likely caused the stain visible in the lower half of the image. The photographic paper used was Fomabrom N 111, whose baryta paper base absorbs moisture more easily, making it more prone to mold, crystallization, and warping. For those seeking fewer imperfections in the final image, papers with an RC base are a better choice. The image shows my house and the sun paths above it. The three distinct marks near the edges of the image are imprints left by corroded magnets used to attach the photographic paper to the back wall of the metal can. The image is presented only as scanned (left) and inverted (right), without any curve adjustments or other digital editing.
