In the past year, I’ve returned to film photography after a long absence of 25 years — and I’ve returned with a vengeance! Not only do I now own several film cameras in a variety of formats, but I also develop my own B&W and color film and have learned to make my own color and B&W prints. I have even set up my own darkroom space I call the “Guerilla Darkroom.”

I’m making little zines and leaving Instax prints around in public places in a campaign I call “Art is Everywhere.” I have started a photoblog at Shutterprof.com. And I am spreading the film gospel to my own students via the Analog Pedagogy Project, where they get hands-on with film cameras, fountain pens, typewriters, am/fm radios, vinyl records, and cassettes. I’m even starting to have my work published in a few places. As you can tell, I’m all in!
