It was a cold and misty night and my grilfriend asked me to come and pick her up at the bus stop. What kind of person would deny that? And not only was i rewarded with her gratitude but also with a gloomy motive.

In einer kalten, nebligen Nacht fragte mich meine Freundin, ob ich sie an der Bushaltestelle abholen kommen würde. Was wäre ich für ein Mensch, das nicht zu tun? Und belohnt wurde ich nicht nur mit ihrer Dankbarkeit, sondern auch mit diesem düsteren Motiv.

The scan gave much nicer results, having less contrast and therefore showing much more detail and texture in the dark an light areas of the picture (especially regarding the waves). I scanned as colour-negative, thus the brown hue.

Durch den geringeren Kontrast des Scans sind in den hellen und dunklen Bildbereichen, vor allem bei den Wellen, deutlich mehr Details erkennbar. Die braunen Töne liegen am Scanverfahren als Farb-Negativ
