I have always been fascinated by photography as a medium.
Once an editor for a photography website, I returned to this art more than 10 years later.
For now, I've equipped myself with a Praktika point-and-shoot 35mm camera, with a zoom that gives me the chance to take more street photography shots.
Why I prefer analog photography to digital one? I see analog photography as a vast field for experimenting, free from 'mistakes' or failures, where one could try different textures, framing, light and shades play, color and leak combinations, still keeping a space for unpredictable results.
While I capture life fragments and transfer them into a physical form, prolonging their lives, I also accept that film itself, as a material, can bring changes to the image. In a world where digital information disappears as fast as it is produced, analog photography gives me the feeling of something that lasts and keeps our memories alive.
