Vi è un nodo alla base della gola che pulsa e che non si scioglie in nessun modo, mentre fallisce il tentativo di aggrapparsi al controllo che sfugge dalle mani, da ogni fessura, da ogni dove, da dove riesce. E abbandonarsi al dolore risulta essere un tale lusso – per me: equivale a cadere in pezzi e doversi ricostruire, ancora e ancora, sperando di aver riposizionato al meglio ogni arto e pensiero e di non aver lasciato, qua e là, crepe troppo evidenti.

On what has been and won't ever be again.
There is a lump in the throat that throbs and does not untie in any way, while the attempt to cling to the control, that escapes from the hands, every crevice, everywhere, from where it succeeds, fails. And surrendering to pain turns out to be such a luxury - for me: it is equivalent to breaking into innumerable pieces that need to be rebuilded, again and again, hoping to have repositioned every limb and thought in the best possible way and to have not left, here and there, too prominent cracks.

L’hiver arrive. Deux jours de neige, montée au col des échelles en direction du lac vert, que nous n’atteindrons pas, la route glisse, les chemins trop enneigés. Depuis deux jours, une pellicule kodak aérochrome est chargée dans le GA645w. Une photo en sous-bois, une au lac long à 2300 m par grand soleil, le reste au col des échelles avec vue sur la vallée de la Clarée. C’est mon deuxième film avec cette pellicule assez extraordinaire……je cherchais le rouge sur le blanc, le contraste du ciel et de la roche…. Winter is coming. Two days of snow, ascent to the Col des Échelles in the direction of the Green Lake, which we will not reach, the road is slippery, the paths too snowy. For two days, aerochrome Kodak film has been loaded into the GA645w. A photo in the undergrowth, one at the lake long ,2300 m , in bright sunshine, the rest at the Col des Echelles with a view of the Clarée valley. Using a concoction of fruits, spices, and other organic ingredients, a photographer in Buenos Aires shares the eccentric results of her film soup experiments.
Her choice of soak for her photographic series "Float On" may not be everybody's cup of tea, but it can't be denied that something so unique deserves a spot in the limelight. During a recent chat with Brigette Bloom, the outlandishly experimental film photographer eagerly shared her inspiration for the series, process (a tipster!), and what she thought of people's reactions over her work, among other things.
