Dresden, May 6, 2026: the Wolfshügelturm ruin. The Wolfshügelturm (Wolf’s Hill Tower), built in 1911, was a popular, 25 meters tall touristical observation tower in the Dresdner Heide forest, providing a stunning view over the Dresden cityscape. On the last day of World War II, May 8th 1945, it was demolished by SS to prevent usage by the russian army.
