Le 24 novembre 1973, alors que l’US Navy avait une de ses bases militaires à Keflavík, un de leurs avions (un Douglas DC-3) a été contraint de s’écraser sur la plage de sable noir de Sólheimasandur, suite à un problème de carburant. Tout l’équipage a survécu, mais la carcasse de l’avion est restée là. Je croyais avoir fait développer le film, mais il n’y eu aucune photo. en 2025 j’emmène un nouveau film aerochrome dans les dolomites…au développement une surprise, des photos de la baie de Fundy, des dolomites et des surimpressions …..j’ai donc shooté deux fois la même pellicule. First time using the Lubitel, and first time processing 120 format film at home with the 120 module. Quite easy, filling it at 300ml and and turning the knob continuously. So easy I should have made more rolls.
The only difficultry was to make the focus and to keep the frame straight : not so easy when you have the inverted image in the viewer ! Especially, when you move in the crowd with people passing between the subject and you ! I even made a double exposure without noticing.
In the next days, I will upload the 35mm photos shot with my Fed 2d.
Lunar New Year photos captured on Tri-X with my #mamiyaRB67, some with a #redfilter. I believe all of these were captured on my 90mm lens though I should have a used a wider lens for the structure with the bell. All developed in replenished Xtol and scanned on my flatbed.
Tulips at the San Antonio Botanical Garden. I was so excited to see little dew drops on them and decided it was a perfect time to practice focusing closer (fully extended bellows). I don't normally focus so closely but I'm happy with the results.
