i adore black and white photography.. trying it out is a long overdue thing! so here are the results.. i got a rollei blackbird 100iso to christmas and gave him a walk trough the streets of cologne!
(and excuse my scanner, its not the best one, so please ignore the scratches)
this is the film which came in contact with the sunlight, therefore i chose it as my test-roll-of-film for my first c41-developing-try.. as may be imagined i was weirdet out that there were so much pictures which survived!!!
tadaaaa.. here are my very first shots with my spinner, that arrived yesterday! you can look forward to the rest of my pictures.. 4 rolls are going to be scanned :D
yesterday I got to know vivie , a pretty nice girl of the same age and hometown like me. for both of us it was the first lomomeeting and first experience of doing doubles with someone else. so we walked around hamburg's alster, eating ice cream and taking pictures :) halfway trough we swapped the films and here is the first half of our results: lca+ russia day shots overlaid with my canon av-1 shots.

This was a really fun outing, as I was shooting alternately with the slow, cumbersome, unpredictable yet fascinating Lomo Lubitel 166B medium-format camera alongside my c.1997-purchased Nikon F50 35mm SLR with zoom lenses, built-in lightmeter and all the bells and whistles (but in fully manual mode, natch). The contrast between these two cameras is staggering, but they're equally fun to shoot with, and both yielded satisfactory results on this occasion (despite some hassles with a sticky shutter release and inaccurate close-range focusing on the Lomo).
You could argue, of course (and I would agree), that the Nikon is not particularly 'lomo', but it's 100% analogue, so I don't feel too bad about including these shots on this site - I know you're a very forgiving community! ;-)
