This collection is a chronicle of light and decay. Captured on the mechanical soul of a Canon A-1, these frames are the result of a gamble with time: Ferrania Solaris 100, aged and weathered long past its prime. In the late summer heat of Hala Gąsienicowa, the mountains didn't just bloom; they vibrated. The expired emulsion acted as a prism, shifting the violet of the flowers and the granite grey of the Tatras into a dreamscape of "shifted" reality. The colors are no longer mere pigments—they are memories distorted by years of waiting inside a canister. These photographs are a silent prayer for the simple life of the highlanders—a life measured by the sun's arc rather than the ticking of a clock. In the grain of the film, there is a raw, unyielding beauty; a longing for a world that remains as steadfast as the peaks themselves. Kazimierz Przerwa-Tetmajer "Pozdrowienie" - From above the Vistula’s waves flies a spring, cool wind, it flies toward my land into the distance, toward the snowy peaks of the Tatras. Wind! Over the hills, the fields, carry my greeting from here, greet my family village and the Dunajec’s current. The roadside willows, the spruce forest, every flower in the gardens, and all the meadows greet at once, and the people from all the huts. And to those snowy rocks turn, toward the ponds, the mountain pastures rush, and greet for me a thousand times my entire mountain land...
