As a photographer I like to view fashion through the lens of an analogue camera and let the film create mood. These images test technical boundaries, creating unique qualities which I believe cannot truly be replicated through digital photography. I embrace light leaks, double exposures, dust spots, movement and distortion, effects that some photographers try to avoid. My go to camera is a Lubitel 2, which I found for $30 in an Op Shop. I also own a Diana F+ which I intend to experiment with a little more. I use a mixture of films, including some expired rolls. I am yet to find a preference.. in my mind any film is good film.
