Easter 2016 - I was very curious to find out how the Summitar 2/50 worked - it had a service after the blades completely sticked. I should have kept in mind the flare-affection of the lense. The strange square lense hood works, but it looks ??? Again i was much too self-conscious "i do not need to meter the light". The Film, Kodak SO553 seems better to me when shooting indoors. The colors indoors are nearly exactly real.
My goal is to challenge myself artistically next year and not worry about what gear or film I don't have. I want to be intentional with creating art I can be proud of. And, I am proud of these. I want to practice creating more long exposure photos, and I think this is a good start. Happy New Year Everyone! We deserve a wonderful 2026!!!

Inspired through the great lightpainting shots of @ck_berlin I thought I might give it another try. I used our basement and was hoping that no one of the neighbours would come down there and ruin the shots. I used sparklers, Fritz the Blitz, a flash light and an ipad app called "MyLightPaint".
My heart has been so heavy the past 2 weeks. I live and breathe the pain of racism and the desperation for accountability, justice and change. For many years, art has been an outlet for my pain; it is my personal love language to myself. I held onto this roll after it came in because it felt selfish to post it. But, the light and hues brought me joy, so I decided to share it. Please be gentle to each other!
