4Runner and Me

yeah yeah, it's a page about my car. This isn't just any car, though. This is a part of me. My parents got my 4Runner when I was about 5 years old, and they drove it occasionally to the grocery store and back. I started driving it when I turned 15. When I graduated Highschool, they gave it to me as a graduation gift. In College I put a ton of miles getting to and from class and labs. as of this year (2026) I've been driving the 4runner for 17 years. This car has been with me my entire life. I drove it to and from my wedding, brought both kids home in it, spent countless nights in it, and braved many storms. One of my dogs died right next to it, and that was the most I've ever cried... and i was in the 4Runner while I cried. I was there when it crossed 100k miles, and drove it across 200k and 300k. I do all of the maintenance myself, and have since 2017. I know every bolt, nut, and solenoid, and story on this car. I love this car more than I like most people. here's to another 300k!
