my name is jodi and i’m 29 years young, residing in the united states. i’m obsessed with film photography since i stumbled upon a Pentax zoom 105-R. i had no idea if it worked or the condition of the camera. so i ordered some batteries and a roll of AGFA APS 400, watched some youtube and found a bootleg website with a scanned manual, and took it to the tattoo shop and tested it out. i read an article about the top 10 film labs in the states ,and picked the first one on the list. when my scans came back i was in love. i haven’t felt this type of excitement and joy about something in a long time, other than music and writing poetry and when i see my dogs. 🖤 i have been in recovery for a few years, and it makes me happy to finally have a healthy hobby. i can’t wait to get some more films uploaded and get better at the process of making magic.
one of my rolls from vacation to Cape Hatteras. unfortunately ,the film lab emailed me and told me there was a really awful residue / soot / slime in my roll and they had to clean it ,which kinda sucks super bad but hey- it gives it character right!?
