I like to know what is going on all around me, what is going to happen next; I like to be prepared.
Except for when it comes to shooting with film! This is my free point. Here I do not worry, I do not think, I do not prepare. I am open for whatever happens. I have had some unexpected, unpleasant results, but also some really great ones! There is unpredictability and a sense of mystery when shooting film; an anticipation that builds up while waiting for your film to be developed. Film: it is what it is, and I love it!
