Keskturg, one of the city’s main traditional markets, is known for its mix of Soviet-era market halls and open-air stalls. It is a place where locals buy fresh produce, meat, fish, dairy, flowers, and secondhand goods, creating a raw, authentic everyday atmosphere. Compared to more polished spots like Balti Jaama Turg, Keskturg feels more unfiltered and functional, reflecting a more local side of Tallinn.
Pirita Beach, January 5, 2026, the Baltic Sea beginning to freeze. It was bitterly cold, around -10°C, and I worried the film (or the camera) might be damaged. I didn’t know then that the temperatures would stay below zero through the end of February, and the ice would stretch meters out into the sea.
Angla Windmill Hill on Saaremaa is the island’s classic windmill spot. It has five old windmills, four traditional Saaremaa post mills and one Dutch-style mill (built in 1927).
A land of milk and honey for photographers, and definitely a fascinating city that I will certainly visit again soon. Developed and scanned by LomoLab. #istanbul #turkey #türkei #streetphotography
Next to where I live, there is this old books market every sunday. You can find second hand and new books and also movie posters, vintage postcards, vinyl records, old videogames and some toys and trinkets (which I love). My dad used to take me there when I was a kid. They keep using the same big wood wheeled boxes to store their materials till next week. I've always loved markets, any kind, but this one has a special place in my flea heart. Sunday vibes.
