....got that itch to take some medium format photos of Old Towne Orange on an hour lunch break the other week. Just had to do it and luckily I made it just in time back to work.
Since I went to BBC studio for the recording of one of the dances for Children in Need, I get obsessed with all the ballroom, glitter and moves. I watched all the episode and was pleasantly surprised that 4 of the professional dancers had Russian/ Ukrainian/Lithuanian origins.
Assorted random photos with the Zenit KM Plus on really old, heat damaged (under the seat of my truck for a few years) film, making grainy, colour shifted photos. Highlight: 1959 De Soto!!
I took two rolls of film for this scenario. One with my lomo, and apparently the batteries were dead and NOTHING came out and I will cry for a long time because of it. So painful! Can't there be a warning, hey your battery is dead, these genius photographs you are taking are not going to exist except in your head warning light??!! And one with my lovely new "Love is in the Air" edition Diana mini. Total crap roll. It happens. But I went to great lengths for this set up. I am devastated. I think this ONE picture is beautiful, though. Please say you like it and ease my pain...
