So i wasn't massively impressed with the outcome of this film the film quality isn't as fantastic as it's made out to be. Exposed and pushed 2 stops at 1250 ASA and theres substantial amount of grain regardless of the boast in latitude. I shot this with my Yashica in aperture priority and the slow shutter speeds have caused some unpleasant soft out of focus results. So I'll put it half down to user error and use my EOS-1N with my fast 50 1.4 for any future rolls. The film is so fast i feel shooting speeds 1/60 or less will result in a pretty rank final render
I keep trying to make myself love this Belair, and have been force-feeding it a variety of films. This album represents select shots from four different rolls of film, and was shot during our meet-up with @schugger and @turtle_cologne :)
I wanted to experiment, do something very minimal, the first four are variations on this simple landscape, I focussed some, for the viewer to absorb the detail, the texture, then others I threw out of focus to allow the viewer to focus purely on the colours.
I decided to play with Holga again after I found this cool film!
Well it was a little bit awkward with the viewfinder and I thought, F with the composition!
My best friend came to visit and we did this fast photoshoot. Unfortunately my beloved Pentacon Six seems to overlap shots... let's cross fingers and hope it can be fixed :)
