Just testing my delighful Ricoh TLS 401. The Copal vertical focal plane shutter with metalic curtains works well timed in every speed. Just the lightmeter is not working. A great camera from the early 70's. The special thing of this camera is that you can also turn a dial on the side of the pentaprism cover and, by opening a small window above you can focusing from this viewer above. It is too small to work as a waist viewer, but it is helpful in many situations. Also nice to steal some pic. M-42 thread mount.

Retamo is a little town located about 10 kilometers from the community of Alto del Carmen and 59 kilometers from Vallenar – northern part of Chile, Region III. This is where my sister (Carlita) retrieves when she wants to relax…lovely place!!! I´ve forgotten to take out the 6x4,5 mask. I was a little shocked when getting the film back from my lab. But thanks god there are no head or feet missing :-)
My decission to take the velvia with its green and yellow tones to the temple of chichen itza was dead right. I really like the dramatic view of the temple.

There is so much happening, people meeting, carriages pulled by donkeys and men, who try to bind a dozen tables on a pick-up truck. The mind is filled with images...
This is a brand new camera that was released just last week in Japan only but I managed to snag one on the big auction site. Apparently these won't be hitting the US market until spring.....Anyway, it has some nice upgrades from the earlier models. The Mini 90 has a rechargeable lithium battery pack, two shutter release buttons for either vertical or horizontal orientation, strap lugs, dedicated flash control button, self timer, macro button with automatic viewfinder parallax correction, four scene modes and my favorite feature of all: double exposure. With a simple piece of painter's tape you can splitzer to your heart's content. I love it!
