This edition of Shot With Love welcomes Ina's (@cul-de-sac) photography back into the magazine as she connects her passion for architecture to her love for analogue.
The Dechantlacke is a well known nudist place in Vienna. So you are not allowed to take photos. But now, on a misty winter day, the only naked is a duck (can you spot her?). So it is pretty much ok to shoot. As a special bonus, the mist and the light shorty before sunset adds to a special mood.
I purchased a Keks M-meter lightmeter for my Leica M4. It is what I would call semi coupled. You choose an aperture and then when you turn the shutterspeed button, it is coupled to the lightmeter and when you hit the same aperture on the lightmeter as is on the lens, then it is correct. I am really happy about the results. Early morning motifs from Hillerød.
Guangzhou-based film enthusiast Gagman gets his firsthand take on the new LomoChrome Classicolor ISO 200 film and talks about how the film's unique color palette shaped his experience.
The last day of my 5th trip to Japan. Probably the best day of this stay. An excursion from downtown Wakayama to its southern suburb, the fishing village of Saikazaki. The walk began at the Shinwakaura bus terminal and continued along the coastline, sometimes climbing quite high, offering wonderful panoramic views of the ocean. I'm uploading a "Canon" album and an "Olympus Pen" album; there will also be a "Sprocket Rocket" album! More photos to come this week. 😉

My second attempt at shooting a panorama using analog collage. I've totally gotten hooked on this technique, it's such a great way to capture something that won't fit into a single frame by putting multiple shots together.
Because of the pretty intense distortion in the LC-A, it didn’t turn out seamless, but I'm still pretty happy with how it turned out.
This collage is made from five frames.

#lomo #35mm #film #kodak #people #fun / Cauliflower is an extracurricular event in my university. For 4 days we've been doing some study projects. We also had parties, teamworking, and so much fun.
I shot the top half in LA using a Hoya dual image filter, finished the roll, reloaded it, and then shot it again exposing the bottom half in NYC. Finally, it was accidentally souped in the washing machine with some fun-ish results 🫧🥴
On our journey along the Nile, we tried to capture the fantastic monuments of the ancient Egyptians on Harman Red film. The film held up well to the numerous X-ray checks of our luggage and the 40-degree heat, in my opinion. Ancient structures that have survived the ages and remind us how small we truly are.
This took some planning. Using a sunrise/sunset almanac, a topo map, and a protractor, I figured out where to go at dawn to get the sun coming up right over Wizard Island. As luck had it, I found a spot where some random tree was drawing the eye back in. This is a two-shot panorama, using a shift lens: one shot shifted left, the next shot shifted right, which made it fairly simple to hand-stitch in Photoshop! What looks like a "stitch line" at the bottom is actually flare from the sunrise. This was one of my top five selling photos when I was doing art festivals, achieving "Elite" level on GuruShots.com.
