The Diana F+ is a fickle lady. If I haven't used a camera in few months, it is like I have to learn it all over again. It did not help that I was trying to learn a new camera at the same time. I took pinholes when I wanted to take sunny, and even had it on cloudy with lens off trying pinholes. Bulb & Normal were confused too. Here are at least some that survived.
Took this MX shot at Dutch Square at Malacca, Malaysia. There were colorful flowerbeds around this Clocktower at the Dutch Square and I thought both would look nice in the same shot.
Second try with the Olympus Pen FT and much better results exposure wise. I used an EOS adapter to attach my Lensbaby Composer and Scout along with a wide variety of additional closeup lenses and optics. Can't wait to try a roll of slide film through this one next. :)
The process of making Lomographs is just like painting itself. We choose what to shoot with our cameras, as well as the painter decides on what scene he'll make with his brush. Both Lomographer and painter are two artists that are aiming for one similar thing - to make beautiful pictures. And for this week, see how our Tipster chose to paint with light, literally.
