Shot Tori with the Great Wall PF-1 at the car yard. This location was absolutely fabulous! Tons of production value everywhere. The RV was like a whole other location. It was so darn hot in the RV my viewfinder started to fog but nearly every shot Tori and I got with it was just great. The black and white stripey shirt was just so damn striking and that cowboy hat added a zillion dollars of production value.
Worked with a new model, Amber. She has an entirely different look than the models I've shot previously but she brings a lot of the same investment and passion. We shot a series at a local abandoned dairy and got some great, great stuff. She wanted to do some stuff with bubbles and I showed her the bubble series I did with Tori and so we went back to the well and got these. Great, great stuff. She's full of great ideas and totally embraces the lo-fi mission. I can't wait to shoot with her again!

Here is the stuff I shot of Anna outside at the studio with her "crazy" outfit. It's one part Tura Satana and 18 parts batshit insane and I love every inch of it. She's so good at aping whatever expression she needs to evoke a mood that you genuinely believe she is a totally insane crazy witch will drink your god damn blood. Watch out!
Here is the color stuff I shot of Anna's crazy, insane eyepatch woman outfit. Can I tell you how much I love shooting her? She knows EXACTLY what to do and nails it. I asked her to in some shots to "pretend you were someone who was trying to be sexy but they didn't understand the concept. It is alien and unfamiliar to them."
She owned it. The shots where she is being 'sexy' are so uncomfortable to look at you gotta look away.
Most likely more than 100 years old, very rare large format plate camera. I own three of them, the smallest, taking pictures on 4 3/4 x 6 1/2 inch, the largest on 10 x 12 inch format.
A truly rare and mysterious camera. Having just the size of a pack of cigarettes, it is a fully functionable TLR, made by Tougodo as "Museflex" in 1950.
It is exposing 24x24 mm pictures on Bolta or 828 film. Those film types are not available anymore, but it is possible to re-spool and use normal 35 mm film as well.
Why not take photos while driving 80mph? The answer is in the brilliant photos of this series.
The expired Kodak Elitechrome EBX made for some nicely saturated colours when cross processed in Digibase C-41 chemistry. The Canon A-1 was equiped with a 28mm lens and motor drive. I set aperture priority to f2.8 and the camera decided the exposure.
