I photograph everyday scenes — a visual diary of sorts. To me, photography is the process itself, not just the final image. When looking at a picture or a series of pictures, my eyes focus on elements, colors, and tones — but my soul sees the person behind the frame.

Medium format systems and black-and-white films were my starting point back in June 2023. For almost a year and a half, a Seagull 4A, a tripod, and a cable release were my go-to set-up. My goal was to work on my composition, exposure, and film developing skills.

Around mid-2024, 35mm became my go-to system, letting me capture fleeting moments with ease. This stage was about learning to set parameters quickly and intuitively — it was also how I learned batch scanning in post, since a roll of 35mm produces far more negatives than 120.

After shooting exclusively black-and-white film for three years, I decided to open this account and share my work. I'm looking forward to exploring color films and C-41 processing in the near future. That doesn't mean I would discontinue black-and-white — I would still shoot with it from time to time.
