chunchunchun
My name is Atsuhiro Shingu.
Born in 1962 in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, Japan.
I started photography when I was in junior high school and joined the photography club in high school and university.
I mainly use black and white film at ISO 100 and old cameras from the 1950s to 1990s.
I use old lens shutter cameras rather than SLR cameras.
My photographic subjects were mostly people until high school and university, but recently I have been taking pictures of Japanese rural landscapes and forests.
I am a geologist and work with nature, so photography is a subject that interests me as much as geology.
