Yes, the Lomolab development department disappointed me this time: 8 uncut negatives, just rolled up into one package and put in a cardboard box, without protection. And I'm not going to talk about the delay again...

One of my favorite things about spring is magnolias. There's an old one in my mother's garden. It regains its brief magnificence at the end of March, and it's an opportunity not to be missed. As you can see, I'm not the only one who thinks so, especially when it comes to playing with the fallen petals!
My first pictures of Japan. 🌋🗾🎌🗼 I received the first batch of my negatives yesterday, and it will take some time until I finish to scan the whole stuff ! So, let's start today with... the beginning, that is our flight to Japan from Roissy Airport to Tokyo Haneda, with a look on the Fuji-San in all its glory (we will never see him again after, due to the wet weather), and an dramatic approach of the airport right upon the Tokyo skyline ! It was as if the flight commander wanted to give us a glimpse of all we were about to visit... Awesome ! 🤩
Then, the trip to our hotel (near the Tokyto Dome, that's why there is a rollercoaster on the last pic). 😎
Must I say that I am very happy with the use of The Olympus Pen EE-3 ? I am in love with this camera ! 😍
Since color films are reaching stratospheric prices, I became interested in Kodak Vision 3 films, which several sites offer under rebadged names. If you look carefully, you can find some at very attractive prices - but does the quality match? I tested the Vison 3 250D, which has an ISO of 200, with my Zorki 6, a demanding camera, and honestly, I give it a go.
The afternoon of this visit to Asakusa, I had an appointment with a Lomographer that I have appreciated for a long time: @yokosima . I must say it was a bit emotional, but we quickly left the cafe and began a very active lomowalk through the streets of Asakusa, chatting all the while. We ended the day with a hot cup of tea on that icy January day, admiring the evening falling over Senso-Ji.
