My family and I visited the old ficus tree at my grandpa's village, Almoradí. It's an ancient Moreton Bay Fig (#FicusMacrophylla) planted more than 100 years ago. At the end of the album there is a digital phone picture that my brother took of me taking pictures. Please, take care of the tree.
This is an after therapy photowalk I took with my friend @petraporter, here playing her classic character "the lady with the bag". It was january 2025. We saw the ducks (always the ducks), the greenhouse and the shadehouse, and at some point we met Thomas and took the bus back to the neighbourhood.
I think these are the last pictures I had to upload from the trip to Berlin with thomas. I'm trying to organise my photos before all those growing folders turn into chaos, and uploading them here as a reward helps me a lot. Another adhd life hack unlocked.
Going back in time to post some Berlin pictures I still had to organise. Here are some photos from the haus projekt we were staying at, the metro station, the radio tower and some parks and ducks at the park. A few days ago I was searching bauhaus era pictures and references, and suddenly stumbled across a photography by Elsa Thiemann taken at the same radio tower, almost same perspective, back in the 1930s. I got some feelings. I was leaving a faraway friend's and I spotted a dusty Leica on a shelf so I left a note, could I maybe borrow it? She was delighted someone was interested in it but said it didn't work and hadn't been properly used since her grandfather's time. Many months later she got it to me and I took it out. First film, rubbish. I wasn't sure if it was old though so I bought a brand new one for the second go, and its much better but still not great. Seems maybe there are light leaks?! Or maybe I'm just no good at this Leica business...prefer my Zorki... (shot in September 2015 and developed in Caffenol)
I love the wood, but it is really hard to capture that special light. I have tons of woof photos, but most of them lack the magic I experience while being there, With this picture I managed to capture that special light quite well.
