The Peace Pagoda is such a cool place. It's located up in the hills in North Leverett. The Pagoda is a solid structure so you cannot go inside. The adjacent building which has been under construction for several years is a dormitory for the monks who live in this place and also serves as a meeting house. The evening I went up there there was not a soul to be seen so I could wander about the grounds and the water gardens freely. I never get tired of the serene setting and the prayer flags flapping in the breezes. There is an interesting earth energy here and you can feel it just walking around.
