Tell us a bit about yourself?

I am an IT Consultant working in London but with a passion for photography. I currently have 4 cameras my most recent one is the Lomo'Instant that I got through backing the Kickstarter Campaign, so I was one of the first to get my hands on one. Street and urban landscape photography are my main focus.

What is it you enjoy about the Lomo’instant?

What I really like about the Lomo’Instant is the unusual look of the prints, the muted colours, odd perspective and the 30 second wait while it develops to see if you’ve captured anything good. When I go out in the city I just put the camera in my pocket and if I see something interesting I can bring it out, shoot and have a physical print in seconds.

Any tips on shooting with this camera?

The only tips I can give are to just keep experimenting, there are so many different effects you can get with this camera, I’ve only just scratched the surface.

What’s coming up in 2015?

In 2015 I will be continuing my project of Lomo’Instant images of the London skyline, there are so many more buildings to capture. I will also be doing more street photography and at some point want to pick up an LC-A 120 to experiment with medium format street photography.
