  • Painful unwanted lightsaber leak

    shared by hervinsyah on 2015-10-01

My dad bought me Nikon F55 in 2004 for my journalism task at college era. But it broke when I was hunting with my master degree classmate in kampung Naga, Tasik T-T Then I bought fisheye camera & holga 135bc. My fisheye was broke when I force to using it at heavy rain (stupid me, that's why they create fisheye submarine +_*) then my Holga 135BC was lost somewhere in Saudi Arabia http://www.lomography.com/homes/hervinsyah/notes/71021-in-memoriam-my-dear-holga-135bc The bad luck story aren't stop yet. I got my first prize as a runner up rumble at this site http://www.lomography.com/magazine/142746-s-e-o-u-l-competition-winner-announcement which is La Sardina camera but the shutter release and the rewind crank are broke T O T It's not over yet. I bought Schmidt camera because I'm interesting with the classic body design Made in Western Germany http://www.lomography.com/magazine/266264-something-new-my-first-second-hand-camera-schmidt-135mm but a year later the rewind crank are broke and the lens didn't want to open when I press the shutter release -_- When will this bad luck (my reckless and stupidness of takecareless my camera?) end? Then I got Lubitel 166+ camera from whishlist 2013 http://www.lomography.com/magazine/265917-the-lomography-win-your-wishlist-rumble-2013-winner-announcements which is my first 120mm camera. But again and again and again I broke it again. The rewind crank are broke. Thanks God I still can use it after cover it with cellotape. But the most painful is my Erika (my Horizon perfekt camera name =p) because it's the most expensive camera that I've ever bought with my own money, Rp 5.500.000 in 2011 (at that time about $ 550) with fresh condition from Lomo Embassy Store, Jakarta, Indonesia. But it always produce this unwanted lightleak. At first I thought it's my another bad luck but after viewing some of Horizon Perfekt user and ask them, it seems like the typical problem of this camera T 3 T from now on camera it's not my priority but Erika it's the only135mm camera I have now besides my Annie (my Lubitel 166+ camera name =p)

The first PO + Scan from Chandra Foto lab are quite dissatisfied for me cause they crop 1/8 part of it. So I ignore my pledge to not to scan at Seni Abadi again since Seni Abadi scan result always very vibrant and I dislike if my photo appear with to many vibrant editing (you know that "no edit" rulez =p) and re-scan it there yesterday LOL

This school, built in the 19th century, will be closed and the classrooms will be transformed in offices. Some if the actual village's habitants wanted to have photographs in order to remember the new generations how the school and classrooms were like. I was asked to do it since they wanted a kind of picture rendering that was accorded to the subject and film is the best support to do it.
