Lomography

I live in Italy, specifically in Rome. After graduating from high school I received for gift a Canon EOS D500. Without any knowledge of photography, I experimented with that, I took photos and videos;… here we say "I melted it". Shortly after my grandmother gave me an analogue machine,  found out in her closet of youth's memories, it was a Contarex, so heavy that after twelve shots I used to start sweating. It was from 1959 and I felt the guardian of a treasure. From the first roll of film with that machine was born a love so deep for analogue photography that I started buying machines of all kinds. Despite I still didn't know the Lomography, because of my ignorance about photography  in general, I have always followed the rule "Don't think, just shoot". When I discovered, during a random search, the site of lomography I basically looted the shop. I think that a designed and calculated photograph is a beautifil work of technique. But Lomography  is a work of love, anger, illusion: Lomography expresses the love for the world, things and human beings . Lomography is photography with a soul. show more show less
