Yesterday, a few lomographer went to the 'Hiller Moor' to hike the 9 km long trail. @frauspatzi @mapix @janetjing (and two friends of her) hiked together with me across the moorland in freezing weather. after some late night interweb meanderings i've ended up with a handful of old school effects filters.
So i've DIY'd a step-up ring onto my holga to give them a whirl!
This is a Hoya andromeda filter (coolest filter name ever) which spins around like a circular polarising filter, giving lights and highlights a colour spectrum effect...

John and I roaming the grounds at Amherst College in January. The Voigtlander Virtus is another example of the many amazing Voigtlander cameras from the golden age of folding cameras, 1930's-50's. This one is fitted with Compur shutter and excellent Skopar 75mm f3.5 lens. I love the vertical orientation of this piece, so cool looking and great to use. One of the marvelous features of these early Voigtlanders is they had an external knob that allowed you to set the distance even before opening the camera so you could preset the distance and then only have to worry about aperture and shutter speed as you popped the latch. http://camerapedia.wikia.com/wiki/Voigtl%C3%A4nder_Virtus

for this film i used three color filters. for first layer green filter (2 stops down). for second layer blue filter (1 stop down). and third filter red filter (3 stops down). uh little bit hard to metering it succesfully... but i like the results soooo much! :)

Made a quick trip to Balai Isable Resort in Taal Lake with some friends, just to check the facilities. It had the usual facilities like pool, restaurant, cottages, tennis and basketball court. The novelty is the Church dedicated to the Espousal of Mary and Joseph.
