    An earful of shutter speed!

I'm one of those hipster chicks with huge holes in her earlobes. You know us, we're the types covered in weird ink and constantly modding our bodies. I'm always on the lookout for cool jewelry to pop into my earlobes and this weekend I bumped into an awesome set of plugs.

People tend to organize their pictures the digital way, which leaves one question to be answered: Where do all those old albums go? Erik Kessels has the answer for us, and you can check it out at FOAM in Amsterdam.

Dutch Inspiration: Saddle Your Dreams Before You Ride 'Em

When I was a teenager I had to cycle to and from school everyday, spending 40 minutes of peddling through the city on my much loved bicycle. I really enjoyed those moments. What I didn't enjoy were those moments where I got to my bike and realized I had forgotten to put a cover on my saddle, which meant that I would have to cycle home with a wet behind.

Purple Passion and Blue Bad-Assery: Lomography X Tungsten

One of the most awesome things about Lomography, in my opinion, is how we are able to bring new life into old concepts. Studio photography has been friends with the Tungsten phenomenon for a while, but thanks to the hard work of the Lomographic Society International, this beautiful film is now readily available for a relatively inexpensive price! I promise you will fall for it, for sure.

    Not-So Sunshine-y Beachcombing

Zandvoort is a beautiful place at the coast of the Netherlands. It’s only about 20 minutes away from Amsterdam. I remember the visits we made here when I was still a kid, back when Zandvoort was the beach for people who had little less to spend. Currently Zandvoort is more of a hip place where everyone can be found though.

Tutorial: How I Roll - A Practical Way of Carrying Films

I have my film rolls sorted neatly inside my refrigerator but as soon as I go outside to shoot, whether on a whole day or on a weekend, I usually take extra films with me. In minutes, the film's order just turns into a total chaos, not to mention the loose rolls inside my bag. Don't you get annoyed when this happens? I finally found a simple remedy for this. Read on.

    Scary Little Czech Bone Church

Accompanied by my best friend, the Diana Mini and a new roll of Lady Grey I've been a total tourist this 'summer' in the Czech Republic. One of the most impressive things we've seen was a cemetery in the little town of Kutná Hora, 70km from Prague. I think the Czech love churches anyway, I've seen at least one in every little town we've passed through. But the bone church of Sedlec is extraordinary.

Lomography Lady Grey B&W 400 35mm: The Classical Lady

The moment I accumulated enough money to order a Ringflash I saw that Lomography had come out with two new types of film for the 35mm cameras: Lady and Earl Grey. I absolutely adore B&W photography and I was on a mission to find a good and affordable roll of film that can handle 400ISO. Lady Grey succeeds in every way.
