   Most of the photos I got from my mother. For her next Birthday (83years) i am writing a book about her father (my grandfather), he was a painter and painted very beautiful pictures, even if he was not famous.
   He was born in Berlin and studied there as a lithographer and was also on the academy for art. When the First World War broke out, he was put in the service as a map draftsman.
   He also knew pilots because the photos were made for the new maps of airplanes.
   In archives almost nothing is to be found from the first world war, since Germany was bombed, and everything was destroyed and burned.
   So I would be very grateful if you could send a good copy of this photo.... (I unfortunately missed this auctionin eBay, .... was working, and for Thema Hook i need more Pixel !!!).
   It is not important that the photos of the Luftwaffe are from Macedonia or Constantinople. The photos should only give an impression from this time !!!!
   I have other photos (the most of Berlin, Mazedonien and Constantinopel) which you can also have a copy, if you like .

   Great album, I have a photo of my Grandfather in a POW camp in 1917, poor quality but if it is of any use to you I will upload it.
