roubenka hotel at štramberk

One day I spotted this east german (Made in DDR) super low-cost camera Certo KN35 from 70' on aukro, a czech analogy of ebay, offered for 99 CZK (4€, 4$..). Since it was the first camera of my sister, which I aslo borrowed at the time, I bought it. The only problem was rewind handle, which was broken and stuck. I removed it and asked a friend of mine to print a new one, according to my design, on 3D printer. The work was succesful, the camera works at all three shutter speeds and here are the results, exposed on Fomapan 100, home developed in Kodak XTOL 1:1, 8 min 30s @ 20°C and scanned on Nikon LS40. Unfortunately, most captures are badly focused or perhaps blured from movement during shutter releasing, I don't know. However, I cannot expect the same results as from Leica :-)

Prague

Country/Region: Czech Republic
Prague

Prague, called "The Hundred-Spired Prague," is easily one of the most beautiful cities in Central Europe, and for good reason. Gothic spires, Art Nouveau facades, cobblestone streets, and atmospheric parks. Beyond the busy Old Town Square and Charles Bridge lies a more creative, alternative side of Prague, where artists, photographers, and curious souls gather. Bring your cameras and enough rolls of film, there is so much to see and shoot!
