   This is an interesting effect. Where does the "noise" or "dirt" come from?

   I placed the negative between two sheets of glass, took a photo on my Nikon D60 and inverted the image in photoshop... it was my first film and I didn't have a scanner at that stage but really wanted to get them on computer so just played around. Lengthy but fun.
