Vivitar IC100: A Poor Guy's LCA+

4

This is one of my favorite film cameras. Come on and find out why Philippine Lomographers love this camera so much!

[

The Vivitar IC100 Costs only 50 Pesos (around a Dollar and a Quarter), this plastic camera amazes almost everyone from Lomomanila.ph forum, including me. After a member found this camera at Hidalgo, Quiapo in Manila, tested some rolls and posted the results, everyone wanted to have one (I bought two :p)

It produces vignettes like that of an LCA, and unpredictable contrasts and saturation. It also gives magnificent lens flares, which by the way I love!

I call this “My Poor Man’s LCA,” though it doesn’t have controls for aperture and focus. It has a fixed aperture opening and shutter speed, both of which I dont know. It doesn’t come with a manual, the face of IC100 just says that it is “Focus free.”

I use this when I want something lighter and more handy than my LCA+.

But there are times when sticky shutter happens, that I do not really mind.

The best thing I like about Vivitar IC100?? It has a Hotshoe for flash, so indoor photography is possible.

Here are the shots that i have taken using Vivitar IC100
