My first elite chrome that i crossed with C41. Nice. But still learning how to scann it, cause I discovered that with cross processed films, you can scann it in monochrome or colorz and find new colorz... Strange and passionating, and confusing. If an expert could give me some lights about scanning rules. He's welcome! Thanks for liking !

The Boyfriend spent a year in Beijing learning Chinese, along with the rest of our little breakfast bunch. These were taken last summer, when I fiddled with long exposures for the first time!

During my sister's family visit to the house, I asked my niece Ayana whose real name is Katrina Ayana to pose for my camera. Not the usual portraits I took of her in the past. Well, I just took pictures of her feet sporting that cute pink nail polish some of which have already faded in color. Asked her to wear different sets of footwear found around the house - even if size bigger than hers. She was happy to oblige as the other members of the family looked in amazement at such crazy idea. Doubled my shots with the image of a sexy star in Philippine showbiz who happens to have the same name (or screen name), Katrina. I love how these two sets of disconnected images fused together. Talk about sexy feet! LOL

The tipster section of the lomography magazine is something that always interests me - specially reading about crazy experiments with films. The dishwasher experiment by the lab rats at the lomo headquarter resulted in awesome shots that really made me say Wow! I also thought I should give it a try. During breaks between outreach performances to flood-affected communities, I had the time to make my crazy attempt. But the problem was I don't have a dishwasher at home. While I immediately thought the washing machine may be a good substitute, I was a bit concerned about the water temperature and the cycle time. Undaunted with my limitations, I opted to approximate the same effect by simply boiling my films and giving them a cold bath and drying afterwards as the tipster suggested. The results on the doubles I did on vintage portraits and images of paintings by renowned graffiti artist Basquiat I must say are very encouraging. This is the first of two albums.

Vision is so powerful to influence our decisions about our lives. Its clarity may lead us to sound judgment of our volition and action. But vision may falter when we fail to check it from time to time. Always have a vision check and see what lens you should use to see the world in better perspective(s). These shots are experimental play on texts and images - fusing together quotes about vision with images I took during a recent cultural outreach to flood survivors in Calumpit - with the hope of creating bite-size inspirational messages.

A week before typhoon Pedring ravaged many areas in the island of Luzon, I had the chance to visit the Baywalk. I was interested to lomograph the spectacular sunset but made room for some shots of the people who frequently visited the 2-km long strip next to Manila Bay. During Pedring's fury, waves taller than the coconut trees caused much destruction in that area. Hope it will be restored soon and the habitues will still continue to go there.

The best festival experience I’ve ever had. It a surprise to discover that hot tents melt 120 rolls with some pretty nice results!
