Is this something very common in Europe? I've seen another shot of locks in a different place before that's why I'm curious if this is something cultural. Do these locks function in the same way coins are thrown into fountains after thinking of a wish? Interesting subject.

yes, this loks is also works like a foutains thinking of wish but this locks are LOVE wishes.example a boy and his girlfriend left a padlock in this place his love will be forever...
