Long exposure is among the more popular techniques used to capture light, and it can be done so easily and beautifully to capture the illusion of night. There's a wide spectrum of lighting to be found on a street, highway, in a tunnel, factory, during a sunset, and even a heavily lit Christmas scene. So go ahead and capture it! Sound hard? Victoria and Alfred Hotel, Cape Town

A hotel with the best ever view you could possibly ever wish for. While preparing for going to Cape Town, I obviously wanted to stay somewhere with a Table Mountain view. It is called such because of the clouds rolling across the top of the mountain, which looks like a table cloth. A lot of the hotels advertised "partial Table View", but in reality, you would have to hang out by the window with the possibility of a broken neck to see even a glimpse of this majestic mountain.

    Durdle Door

Durdle Door is one of the most photographed landmarks along the Jurassic Coast. This rock arch in the sea was formed as a result of the softer rocks being eroded away behind the hard limestones, allowing the sea to punch through them. The name Durdle is derived from an old English word 'thirl' meaning bore or drill.

Clifton Beach, an urban paradise. Clifton Beach is made up of four coves and the beaches are called First, Second, Third, and Fourth. When the summer south-easter blows, the Clifton beaches are usually well sheltered from the wind but to be honest, it’s great to visit all year round.

Catch the Beautiful Sunset at Danshui, Taipei

The next time you're in Taipei, remember to take some time and enjoy the beautiful sunset at Danshui. It is one of the places I'd definitely take friends who are visiting Taipei - on the Old Street, you can find awesome local street food and fun night market games; if you take a short ferry ride across to the town of Bali and the Fisherman's Wharf, you'll find yourself in the perfect place for a scenic walk by the coast.
