Bora Bora, the Pearl of the Pacific

Bora Bora...a name which evokes a place that is already close to being considered as "paradise". I actually had the chance to go there for a week; sailing in one of the world's most beautiful lagoons, enjoying the marvelous views, and of course, taking lots of pictures.

With a pipe dangling from his mouth and wind in his wiry white hair, TIME's Person of the Century spent his leisurely time under the sun. Check out these photos of Einstein chilling!

    Konstanz and Lake Constance

For years I’ve been planning on visiting my friend in Konstanz for a sailing trip on Lake Constance (Bodensee). In August 2008 we both finally found the time to realize those plans. I took the train from Frankfurt to Konstanz, arriving on late Friday afternoon. But before we entered the boat on Saturday my friend showed me what Konstanz had to offer culturally.

    A Not-So Pirate Life

Since my boyfriend is a huge sailing fanatic, and I enjoy lounging around on boats, we decided to do one more boating session before he moves to the USA. His dad, a sailing mate, brother, and brother's girlfriend joined us and it was a great sunny day on the water!

Hot Summer Day...Why Not Go Sailing?

Copenhagen Harbor, especially the new promenade at Islands Brygge offers a veritable throng of bikini babes and pumped testosterone bombs of young men. Electronic music fills the air, skin glistens, and some people take a dive into the blue waves.

LC-A Goes To: Cesena and Cesenatico

If you want to spend a weekend near the sea but do not want to restrict yourself to the usual routine consisting of the hotel and the beach, I recommend taking a trip to Cesena and Cesenatico, two towns located on the Adriatic coast of central Italy. I did mine by combining sunbathing and cultural excursions. This was documented with my trusty Lomo LC-A. Have a look!

    Sailing Around Datça Peninsula, Turkey

Don't believe what people tell you about Turkey. It is not the strict Muslim country that people think it is. The people are friendly and open, the food is good and you can find some pretty untouched or simple places that are worth getting out of the big city for.
